I’ve been working with Owairaka since 2003. It’s a great community who are rightfully proud of what their school has to offer. The school is supported by a parent community who come from a wide range of backgrounds. The school reflects the community that it comes from. Redesigning this website was a real challenge. The school is supported by a strong community and wanted to be able to share what was happening with community members. Teachers are able to edit their own classroom pages and add updated content and pictures easily. http://www.stpaulsprimary.school.nz/ Owairaka District School is situated in multicultural Mt Albert. The school is proud of its ability to serve the needs of the local community. The website features a rotating header image. It is full width with two sidebars enabling the school to show off a lot of content tidily. The school has a number of unique community iniatives and this site is a central access point for the community. Student work and the school’s own facilities are highlighted in this site. The students participated by taking photos and video footage and by Twittering about their experience.
