Valid Code!

Finally! Last night I got hold of the latest version of this theme and uploaded it to my site. Then I did some detective work and fixed all the validation errors. So I’m very proud to say that for the first time in a long time, Tangled up in Purple’s code validates.

Why is valid code important? It means that your webpage is accessible by all of the major browsers. It’s really easy to think that everyone looks at the internet through the same set of eyes (browsing tools) but they don’t. Although I’m usually using MS Windows, I very rarely use Internet Explorer. I’m a major FireFox fan. Also my screen is wider than most people’s so it can make some designs look a little funky. On the Mac I like to use Safari, although I like Camino too.

Code that adheres to the standards set in place by the W3C looks good on any browser, and at all screen resolutions.
