Woosh have announced that they are going to be offering an alternative phone service. The product they are offering is a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocal) technology which relies on an existing internet connection with Woosh.
Woosh are a great wireless internet service provider. The modem is small and discrete and you can easily set it up on a network. I think that adding this phone technology is going to mean that a lot of people are going to take a look at their product.
When it first came out wireless internet technology was beset by “lags” and “dropouts”. These days it’s a great cheap solution for homes, schools and business.
