I am not in the slightest bit interested in playing games on any of my computers. I’ve tried to play games over the years but (a) I have no skills and (b) they don’t interest me.
That might change. I’ve been playing a little wee distraction called Crayon Physics. The aim of Crayon Physics is to draw shapes which then become objects that apply a force to a small red ball. The idea is to move the ball to collect yellow stars. It’s simple and it’s addictive. You move through the first couple of screens quickly and then are faced with increasingly more challenging tasks (that really annoyed me).
Petri Purho, who designed this game, set out to design a new game every month for a year. Crayon Physics has been so popular that he has developed it further and is shortly to release a ‘deluxe‘ version.
I want to put this game into the hands of some ten year olds and watch what they do.

Never seen this before, but I will be downloading it tomorrow after watching the youtube video. I’m assuming you’ve shown this to some of our teachers – I’ve watched kids get creative with linerider, and this looks like a similar idea. Thanks!
