Confirming that you can use a projector with the EeePc. My aging Epson EMP-S1 worked flawlessly. I was able to play a movie, try out some games and was generally impressed. As was one of my kittens as can be seen in the video.

The impending milestones might spur the fingers to brain and keyboard action but I’m not particularly hopeful. Eleven days without our usual internet connection. Although I talked to both Telecom and Quicksilver five days before picking up sticks it has been impossible to get the tubes turned on. In effect, because of the patchy interweb available at the Learning@School conference, I have been [...] I have managed to install Vista Ultimate Edition on the M400 and so far I am reasonably happy with it. This is a cautious install – there are a few things that I’m uncertain about – so I have retained my Tablet Edition (XP) in a dual boot configuration. Early impressions: Good Vista installed very easily. Cool – the iPhone has been released by Steve Jobs – how exciting! It will be available at some point in 2007 and will come do almost everything that a mobile user could possibly want.
